From now on, KATALEKEEPER KATALEKEEPER and myself will make a 1v1 completely hypothetical fight. There will be 6 entries; whoever coments first. The entries need to follow a theme. Such as the first one: Anything that can be kept in a 5 gallon tank or smaller. We have all the entries from people who posted on the first thread.

The system is going to work like a bracket. 2 fish will hypothetically go head to head, and you pick which one you think would win. Each day, one poll will go up. 3 days after the theme, all 3 fish go head to head in a poll. We announce the winner, etcetra. Pretty strait forward. First poll is here: https://linkto.run/p/470GPBBI.

Have fun, and remember, please don't pick the fish just because you like that fishkeeper who chose it, or have that fish and just like it in general. Please stay on topic to the main question: Which fish will win in a 1v1?

edit: PLEASE VOTE ONLY ONCE! I CAN NOT CONTROL HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE CAN VOTE!!!!!

Stone cats have lots of armour. They can use that to their advantage. I don't believe the belly has armour tho.... By 'descent attack' you mean it has a mouth, and it has atleast some teeth. I think the stone cats have teeth, and could do a lot of damage to the paradise fish.

Paradise fish (and labyrinth fish in general) do tend to be quite intelligent. It may figure out how to overpower the cat or find a weak point.
Cat does have spines though, if the paradise gets to close, it can easily barb it.

stone cats teeth wont be able to reach the paradise fish unless it attacks from the bottom.
I’m not worried about teeth, most cats have the spines across their sides. It could filet the paradise with a good hit. It remains well protected though.

I almost did paradise, until I just thought about what kind of damage those spines could do.
