I think your tank might have been too small. Do you have any filters? I think that you were a bit overstocked and the bio load was too much for the 4 barbs and the other fish.
Ok I will consider thatI think that a 6 gallon tank isn't enough for them as they are a schooling fish. Thats not even enough for one school i'de say. A 10-20 gallon would be good for 1 school. 1 school has around 6-7 tb

This isn’t what I meant. I meant to add established filter pads or media not the waste and detritus.Ok I will add them squeeze the debris in new tank
This makes sense now. Tiger barbs are fast swimming active fish they need a decent source of oxygen and proper filtration.
