I've kinda just accepted it as something that they do from time to time. It seems to be caused by random changes in water parameters- or water changes- but they don't always do it at a wc. So idk. It's never seemed to cause them harm for me ?
Maybe a temperature issue if temps don’t match?
Have to be honest and say that my Goonch was always in mature water. His tanks only ever had 10% weekly or 20% fortnightly changes and I never saw this. Believe it happens in banjo cats too with similar skin to Goonch.
Your Goonch has the trait bent dorsal of what I see in many b.bagarius, have you decided on which it is?
What temp is it at?
He hyperlinked a video in prior postYaponchik got a pic?

Yaponchik (my contryman?) has got a sweet tank too. Lovely fish. Glad to see Fishman Dave's got a great eye for goonch ID.
Thank you.If you are not a Russian-speaker, do you realize your screen name is a Russian word spelled out in Latin letters? I think you are pulling my leg or this is some kind of a rare and huge coincidence
No need to answer. This is personal
