Last year I walled off a 16'x23' room in my 4 bay garage for the purpose of getting a few tanks out of my house, and building a 16'x10'x4'deep tank for my 4' arapaima "floyd", and my otorongo rays. This was a decent project in itself, taking months. All building materials have gone through the roof (almost doubled) since the VID. So it took longer than expected of course. Either way, about a year later the tank is running great, Floyd and some rays r in and loving it. I will post a few pics at a time when I have a few minutes. Built on a budget for sure, and also built to "float" incase I ever have any heaving issues w my concrete pad. So I had to use a liner as opposed to epoxy as I would have liked (which was a challenge w 3 viewing panels). Not the prettiest thing, but it works great and I am happy w my results. Here is the base grid and the walls going up. I am happy to answer any questions that are not explained by the pics. Hope u enjoy. 20200929_182453.jpg20200929_182518.jpg20200929_182532.jpg20200930_172005.jpg20200930_172043.jpg20200930_172101.jpg20201004_115837.jpg20201004_160052.jpg20201004_182108.jpg20201005_162659.jpg20201006_154335.jpg

Wow! Amazing project; I hope you continue this build thread, it will be fantastic.

I'm anxious to hear how you handled the sealing/attachment of the glass windows in a liner-type pond. I always wanted to try this but always chickened out and went with epoxy, but for a build this size the liner seems like a smart plan to maintain some flexibility. Looking forward to more details and pics, especially of the finished/filled/stocked result. :)

Lol, a four bay garage and the only vehicle you can get in it now is a bicycle, lol. You've just taken fish porn to the next level, fantastic build.
