Large alligator gars in captivity

Hi guys I was wonding how big gar can get in captivity. I've seen zeus at Bass pro fishing and he's massive. But I want to know what is the biggest gar in captivity you've come across. I have a little girl (90cm) in a pond (aprox. 30,000 gallons) and it seems like shes stopped growing. How do I get her to become huge? My arapaima dont seem to have a problem getting to 2m+ and my gar is starting to fall behind?

I feed my gar frozen fish, crayfish and brine shrimp. - Am I missing an important element?

I suggest replacing brine shrimp with a large pellet food.

I tried with preaditory fin's pellet food but my gar doesn't seem interested and doesn't even make an attempt to eat it.

Do the other fish like it? If so I would continue to offer and hopefully Gar will learn from others that it is food.

Only my catfish seem to eat it. The rest just eat meat. I guess its because I fed them this diet since they were small. But ill try to mix the foodand throw it at the same time.

Sounds like you have some amazing monsters in your pond. I haven't seen many members that have Arapaima in their collections. Not to mention large Gar. I would love to have a pond like that. Very cool indeed.

As long as you apply for the correct licenses you can enjoy such a pond! I did a diy tarp pond to save on costs and its been holding strong for 8 years now. But do your research before you decide to buy these monster fish. By far the most expensive and arguablly most fun part is feeding!

The largest one I've seen was a 5 foot long platinum alligator gar. Other than that l, I've seen them reach around 3-4 feet.
