Yea I have nothing but good intentions for all of my fish i know all of their grow rates their temperament their needs everything the only issue is money for me I need another job so I can afford the proper housing for all the fish I own but since I don’t have money to buy bigger tanks at the moment my mom is telling me there’s no room for my fish when there is room I have a large closet that isn’t used for anything there’s a large empty corner of the house that we have nothing in and there’s a big area in my room but the only problem is the money really but I could for now get a 75g tank and stand and put that in the living room which my mom agrees on and I can put my fish in that so they have a larger home while I’m working on a pool pond or I could even use a large empty closet or space in my room to put a large industrial tote in and use that as a larger home for some of my fishI have had many of the fish you are currently trying to keep. This albino pacu is roughly 16” in the photos here- 6 months old.
if you look closely into the pond release picture you can see a more grown but I assume not fully grown regular pacu next to it. This is to give you perspective of how big/ how fast if kept in ok situation, not even optimal. The tank it is in is a 180g that I bought 2-3 months into it. 2’ front to back to give an idea of size.
it may seem like we are all trying to reign on your parade, but most of us here are pretty passionate about keeping our fish in great conditions. More so than trying to stunt them and basically send them off to a slow painful death. I figure you have good intentions, like most of us when we arrive here. It can be a rude awakening to realize we don’t have the tank sizes needed etc. I have been there myself more often than not.

I agree I should have waited after the Rtc died to buy anything else I do have money not much though I bought the Fh instead of the lemon Oscar because the FH is smaller and I know I have room for it for now and I know I can provide the proper care for the FH through its life and I had thought the same when I bought the other fish in January but things changed and messed up all my plansHere’s the whole big picture people are trying to say. A 75 gallon isn’t nearly enough for frankly most of these fish. I saw in another thread that your RTC died, RIP. But you went to the store and bought another pacu? Why? If a fish suddenly died why would u not wait? You said after 2 of your other pacu died? Then you just bought a fh instead of a lemon Oscar. The you say you don’t have money? You have money it sounds like you’re just not using it the right way.
Can we see pics of the fh? How do you have the room for the fh? What size tank is he in?I agree I should have waited after the Rtc died to buy anything else I do have money not much though I bought the Fh instead of the lemon Oscar because the FH is smaller and I know I have room for it for now and I know I can provide the proper care for the FH through its life and I had thought the same when I bought the other fish in January but things changed and messed up all my plans

He’s going into the guppy breeding area there’s no guppy’s left I feed them all last night to the chickens it only costed 10$ so not upset with that so that’s where the fh is going (can’t get a real good pic rn sorry) or he’s going into a 5g tank then in a month or two going into that 20g toteCan we see pics of the fh?
