Fine
If yes, what is your nitrite?
Fine
If yes, what is your nitrate?
Fine
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
What percentage of water do you change?
41-50%
How frequently do you change your water?
Every week

I got a bamboo shrimp about 2 months ago from a very trusted LFS and I had noticed that it had died I was wondering why because it seemed healthy but I did a 90% water change the day before so could it be connected to that because I missed the week before so did a larger water change is it possible that the tank is overstocked there is:
3 5 stripe barbs
5 neon tetras
2 female swordtails
5 corydoras
1 albino bristlenose pleco
3 penguin tetras
And a lot of snails

Anyone that might know why please let me know because it was a much loved fish and I will be getting one in the future so I would like to avoid this situation

Fine, fine, fine doesn’t tell much. These guys are very sensitive to water parameters, one mess up and they will die.
Tanks is overstocked, the pleco needs much more room and the cories plus barbs can probably go.
Also, they do need lots of food floating in the water as they are filter feeders. It’s possible he starved.

Did you forget to plug the filter or airstone in. I ask because I killed a crayfish that way, oxygen in the water depleted fast and he was the casualty.

I wasn't target feeding it and I am planning on upgrading to a 105 litre tank in about month but at the moment the pleco is about 1 inch

you had/have a lot of fish in direct food/grazing competition with the shrimp - i expect it did starve. Think about a wave-maker to drive current, then drop flake-food into the back of the wavemaker so it shoots into the current, and the fans of the shrimp who'll be sitting directly in front. You'll have to adapt your low-flow stock, too - think about keeping this tank high-flow & replacing the tetras & cories with gobies & loaches, pref. butterfly & suck-stone river types.

By fine I ment the test said the water quality was the right amount of everything
Numbers are still important. The test kit is general for most fish, shrimp are a lot more delicate.
