Different species. I have a blue whale catfish. Cetopsis ceocutiens. Not blue catfish like what you find in a river. But I’ve never seen a 150lb blue cat nor have I seen one fast 4 feet. In person I’ve only ever seen a 60lb 3.5’ blue cat.View attachment 1463848
Can someone confirm this?
You may have already come across the information but Planet Catfish has them growing to just over ten inches.Different species. I have a blue whale catfish. Cetopsis ceocutiens. I don’t have room for any more of them also they’re so rare that I don’t think I could find more if I did have the room. I’d love to have like 7 of them in a big tank. What purple ones? Can you show a picture pleaseThere used to be a few post on cetopsis here. The purple ones are sweet. Get a few more if you can, it’s great!!
Get the water level low enough so ur arm isn’t in that tank. Other option is get the larger gravel vac that has the longer cylinder tube. How do you suggest I do a gravel siphon without Cookie Monster tearing up my arm? And before someone says it. No I’m not able to just hold onto the small tube and move the siphon around, it’s not as accurate as holding the siphon part (don’t know the actual names for it but the siphon part is the larger tube).
Thank you. Somehow I Didn’t think of lowering the water level. Reason I ask is because this fish has tried to shred my arm up before and I’m genuinely terrified of having any body part in the water with himGet the water level low enough so ur arm isn’t in that tank. Other option is get the larger gravel vac that has the longer cylinder tube.
