as long your FH is eating he is perfectly healthy. Some arowana have some fascination with bubbles for some reason too

I turned up the filter last night for more aeration. I’m pretty sure he’s just doing it trying to attack them because when he does it he flares up and swims around them a lot. Also his tail and tail part of his body is starting to show some gold coloring.

My FH attacks the bubbles from time to time, I don't know if he thinks there food or if they just piss him off every now and then ?
Exactly how it is with mine. I said in another thread I got a small 3 gallon bait bucket bubbler for fishing and I put it in the tank for aeration and he attacked the tubing. I’m going to try to find a way to put an old filter in my tank as a second one that was on the 29g
Yeah mine didn't like the air stone when it first went in but he mostly leaves that alone now lol. Its not a bad idea to have more than one filter running for backup and media set up.
I run 3 filters in total 1 external and 2 internal.
The external has all the biological media in it and the internals just sponges.

fot giving me suggestions on starting hand feeding and getting daisy comfortable with my hand. I was bored and found some omega one frozen cichlid food that I’ve only ever used like 2 other times and thought, why not record and see if daisy will eat this out of my hand with it fully submerged. Colors are coming across wonderfully! Lots of trimac by the looks, I wonder what the breed is.
Thank you. He’s still digging around the rocks lol. Saw a video of a blue kamfa flowerhorn that looked very similar to daisy. I doubt that’s what he is but always a possibility. Only time will tell.don’t know why but the coloration is just telling me it’s not a rd
EDIT: most red dragons I see have a really vibrant red coloration on their “shoulders” as I call it. Daisy has a light pink, yes it’s possible that it’s just not came in all the way or something but also there’s not much red on his shoulders and his body is mostly overtaken by blues and olive green
Regardless of what he is he is turning out stunning. Deadeyes right you can deffinately see alot of trimac in him.
