Again not an expert, however if you just started the salt treatment I would give that a chance first before introducing any chemical treatment. With a little luck it might be all you need. ?No I don't know im afraid.
Thanks buddy, and to all of youAgain not an expert, however if you just started the salt treatment I would give that a chance first before introducing any chemical treatment. With a little luck it might be all you need. ?
Thanks bud ill take your words into consideration and I'll find out if its sub tropical. I'll try the lightly salty water anyway as I heard it won't harm the fish.It looks like some extra slimecoat production and not fungus. I’d just increase ur water changes and monitor. If it’s a try sub tropical fish then you’ll need to keep ur temps adjusted. Keep an eye out on behavior.
Temperature is at 26 c and no white spots. Just the patchesAre there any visible white spots on his body? And temperature?
Its behaviour seems normal, he eats quite aggressively and hasn't denied any food yet. The white patches are appearing on the other side of the body. I have added 3 tea spoons of aqualibrium salt (from my lfs) in the last 3 days. How's it doing now?
