Our most recent HOB filter was a Seachem Tidal 110 filter. It has several cool little features (like self priming) that I prefer over the Aquaclear 110. You certainly can go wrong with an AC110 though.

It's cheaper for the manufacturer to make and cracked housing means more money for them.cracked housing it’s so aggravating that they haven’t solved that glitch
I've bought a few second hand 110's with cracks in them and I've done well sealing them up with various types of glue. It's cheaper for the manufacturer to make and cracked housing means more money for them.

I've used that before. You've got to give it a shot, you'll get better over time lol.I have thought about Weldon just don’t feel confident in my DIY skills lol ?
no it is not when 3 of 4 products is broken in shipping? How is it making money when you lose money ? when other parts are intact and is compounded into a net loss damages? The most $ is the motor and you are practically giving it away for free because the middlemen are claiming it as a net loss no companies returns it to the manufacturer they “toss them in the garbage”
From my experience I ended up with 2 free units with cracked housing and everything else was perfectly usable including the motor. Does that make more sense?
