Aqua clear 110

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I grab the AC110s when I see them for sale anywhere used as I am always running into issues like some said cracked housing it’s so aggravating that they haven’t solved that glitch. And it being unable to fit in smaller acrylic tanks. I’m not a fan of canister filters nor do I like those seachem tidals that is supposedly be rated better than the Aquaclears

Besides the fact that with a little maintenance they run forever, Amazon has all of the parts available individually if needed. I have replaced rotor shafts and cases this way.

It's cheaper for the manufacturer to make and cracked housing means more money for them.
I've bought a few second hand 110's with cracks in them and I've done well sealing them up with various types of glue.

no it is not when 3 of 4 products is broken in shipping? How is it making money when you lose money ? when other parts are intact and is compounded into a net loss damages? The most $ is the motor and you are practically giving it away for free because the middlemen are claiming it as a net loss no companies returns it to the manufacturer they “toss them in the garbage”

From my experience I ended up with 2 free units with cracked housing and everything else was perfectly usable including the motor. Does that make more sense?

The AC's housing is cheaper to produce but after reading what you said that does makes more sense.
