As with many Pacific Slope biotopes plants are pretty much non existent. Where the Rio Tulija flows through the Lachandon Jungle trees and overhanging vegetation are abundant but that is about it.

That mixed with the fact the Argenteus will destroy any plants

There isn’t much to update with this aquarium, other than there is a female who is beginning to pair with the dominate male. Over the past 24 hrs her black colouration has begun to darken especially in her mask.

Below are some images of the two (this aquarium doesn’t have a light above it. It is lite by the lights on the roof of my fishroom so the images aren’t amazing)
