I probably have socks older than some of you...
The catfish was actually named after the old radio show from the '40's and '50's. But you probably "new" that, right?

Sorry, no, that was way back in the days of film photography. I haven't even got many pictures of my family from back then!
I joke that I only name the “keepers”. Ive owned silver dollars and they did not get named, same with my bala sharks but my favorites always get a name.
My old pearsei was named Porkchop
My old hairy puffer was Scruffy
Sadly both have passed due to old age but both were replaced with the same fish. Current pearsei is named Kirby (like the vacuum or video game character… due to eating abilities, lol), current hairy puffer is named Gizmo.
My endli about 20” now is named Croc

Pretty sure they named it after my old grandpa: Grandpa Shadow.
