My LFS got these today and I had to have one
It’s the pinkish bigger one

Lol I feel the same way! I had been flirting with the idea of some dwarf chain loaches for my 110 liter, but my local Big Al's had some in today and I just knew I couldn't not get some the moment I laid eyes on them.

Haha, nice! Should post a video
I’m ok for now, but I’m gonna be overstocked as these guys grow, so I’ll have to figure out which one or two to sell, but definitely not this guy

Nice. One of my favorite characins!

I’ve been reading up on these for a while now, but is there anything special I should know? I’m just asking because the guy at the shop made them sound very delicate

They are a bit cause they’ll dart into tank walls. Don’t do to well for me if shipped. I’d make sure there are some floating plants to hide under and prevent them from darting into the tank walls.

Mine has some minor nose damage that the LFS said was from shipping, they just got them in but they only had 4 and didn’t want to wait in case they all sold while I was waiting

Are these difficult to get to eat? From what I’ve read, they’re aggressive eaters. I’ve tried cut up silversides, bloodworms and FD krill. I’m hoping to avoid having to get live food, I am going to try live nigh crawlers tomorrow though.
It’s seems settled in, no heavy breathing or signs of stress. It’s taken a few glances at food but does not go for it at all

They are a bit. They were probably fed live food at the lfs. I’d try floating foods mixed with garlic or bloodworm juice. Throw in some current to get it to move. Can even mix with live crickets and prepared foods. Just keep reducing the live crickets and hopefully the cudas will take the pellet.
