My all time favourite comm tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Can we just enjoy the fish for once and not talk about how u think its wrong or crowded or whatever? 99% of fish keepers on here don't even have a tank big enough anyways for their monsters. It's cruel in general keeping a fish in a box even if your tank is 500 gallons. When some of these monsters come from big lakes and river. All we can do is make sure the fish are in good health. For the fish hobby, that's what the word community means. Words can have didn't meaning depends on different things.

By the definition of a community: “Different species living in the same area” it checks out. It’s just that a good number of us try to replicate nature (or something that looks like it could be found in nature) to make a community rather than put many random fish together (which we are all guilty of at some point).
Technically a huge tank full of bass, aros, bichirs, and dats is no different than a small tank loaded with platies, tetras, loaches, and dwarf cichlids - just much more room for error in the former.
I personally like the ecosystem look better, but everyone is subject to their own opinions, and as long as the fish are healthy, there isn’t much to comment on.
The original tanks posted are impressive, just not my cup of tea.

This forum just makes me laugh anymore. "Grrrrrr fish in glass boxes let's all give our opinion!!" Lol anyways, always a treat seeing t1karmann's tank. I don't think he's on mfk anymore sadly. I love iven bettas holding/grow out tank aswell. Most of these people have big ponds & multiple setups that these fish graduate to so don't be so quick to pass judgement.

I believe that t1karmann had some serious health issues years ago, which may explain why he no longer is active on MFK.

Yes I agree!
Let’s just keep this thread on the beautiful tanks and fish, not always deterring to overcrowding and tank space please.
