Wouldn’t be cousin. It would be closer to like the 7th half cousin. I was wrong. Did some searching and apparently chickens are direct relatives to the T. rex. I always thought it was a common mistake the same as how some people say humans evolved from chimpanzees but really we came from a common ancestor.
Do you eat the cartilage? This is so stupid but like when cooked does it soften up into a more tissue like texture and make it chewy or something
I personally didn’t eat much off it as I didn’t enjoy the texture but yes I believe the idea is to eat it as a softer cartilage….kind of like pigs feet/hocks? I’m not sure but it wasn’t very tasty to me…
Have you never heard of offal meats? It’s usually the cuts that people find less desirable.
