The trade name for both species of the genus Hypselacara, both temporals, and H. krausii are often used interchangeably as Chocolate cichlids.
I have never heard Uaru referred to as a Chocolate.
But common names vary from city to city, country to country, so I try to never use them anyway.
I find using common names often will get you something, you are not asking for.
As an example, if you ask for a "red terror" you can get either Mayaheros uropthalmus from Mexico, or Mesoheros festae from western S America, and either would be correct. (in actuality it was used first, for uropthalmus)
Another problem might be using the name Pearl Cichlid.
I have seen Geophagus braziliensus listed as Pearls, and many other Geophagines as well, and also seen a number of Herichthyines listed as pearl cichlids, such as H carpintus, and a number of others in the genus.
Even goofier, I have seen the Mexican Parachromis friedrchstalii listed as hornet cichlids, but also the African cichlid, Heterotilapia buttikoferi.
So if you really want a certain fish, using the scientific name is your best option.
