Interesting. I'm more used to seeing smallwoodi with a lot more yellow patterning on them every now and then at expos, and didn't know they were that variable in pattern.
Honestly, I have no clue what the lizard in the new post is; closest guess is either a close relative of the Chinese Crocodile Lizard (highly unlikely, but still not out of the question) or some species of lizard in the taxonomic family Teiidae.
Reminds me of an Italian Wall lizard with super charged colors
