Who needs a bed? I can just put a sheet of plywood on top of a tank at night and sleep on it. On a serious note I did get rid of my bed a few years back because it took up to much space and replaced it with a couch. The couch is just big enough for me to fit my 5’5” self on lol.

I swear just a month ago I was on the bus going to middle school thinking “Man, just let me go to work and make money already”. Young Brian was wrong, work sucks.

Hello; First I agree with the end result that the dog stays and the mooching brother of the girlfriend goes. I also figure the girlfriend being gone will turn out to be a bonus over time. Had a female relationship in which I was expected to pitch in to help her family members. Got old quick so I stopped being helpful. I was much better off after she left. All that is not my question.
What I do not know is about the use of TA in the story. What is a TA?

Sounds like the girlfriend and her brother were a couple of freeloaders. Fair play to the guy for turfing them out. He can now live in peace with his dog. Some people are TA, lol.

My take on the "TA" abbreviation is that it means "total a*seholes".

It gets a bit tiresome reading items on the internet that require a complete set of translation instructions for those of us who grew up reading and writing English.

People can't spell anymore thanks to all the short forms and symbols and contractions they use on their phones...and then even when they do get in front of an actual keyboard, they continue to use all that gibberish as though it were an actual language.

Gibberish is a language....at least it is in Blighty, lol. And I've seen enough posts on MFK to confirm that it's spreading globally!
