Datnoid Diarrhea?

Hey all,

My 2 year old datnoid (12 inches) has been recently having what looks like diarrhea. Poop is usually formed but comes out like powdery. I feed massivores so just looks like undigested massivores pellets. Any ideas on what to do and whether this should be cause for concern?

Possibly overfeeding? Cause the datnoid eats like a beast but the food is sh*t out like powder lol. Im gonna try tilapia today to test whether its the food. Hoping its not a problem internally. Thanks for the input.

Yes, I think this is a more natural diet for a dat.

try letting the dat purge its bowels for a few days.

A twelve inch dat can go without food for many days.

Try tilapia after a reasonable purge.

I’ll give it a few days and see if it gets better with tilapia. Thanks for the reply. Keep y’all posted

.....as I am well aware,my point was not to try to starve the fish.
