....eat what, the fish?...I'd have no objections to it,however, your patents might feel differently LOL!Can I eat them
fx6s are largely a gimmick in my opinion. unless your utilizing the mechanical media chambers your only going to fit at beast 1 gallon of media. thats really not sufficient for what the filter claims it can do. but on the plus side. the pumps powerful and it can move alot of water. when i had my fish room i had several fx5s that would feed overhead sumps. worked just fine. i would load the fx5 with nothing but polyfil and then load the overhead sump with pot scrubbies.T
They got them pretty big but they grew a lot
That fx6 was 400$ so you bet it ain’t inadequate
If I were to get a 450 gallon pool pond would it be good for the fx6 and them?fx6s are largely a gimmick in my opinion. unless your utilizing the mechanical media chambers your only going to fit at beast 1 gallon of media. thats really not sufficient for what the filter claims it can do. but on the plus side. the pumps powerful and it can move alot of water. when i had my fish room i had several fx5s that would feed overhead sumps. worked just fine. i would load the fx5 with nothing but polyfil and then load the overhead sump with pot scrubbies.
in a nutshell you need to increase water changes and even add another filter of some kind.
getting a fish to stop eating live is going to be up to the individual fish. it could work. it might not.If I were to ge

Also if I were to catch a wild largemouth bass would I be Able to train it to eat non live
My bad guys the filter was unplugged lolgetting a fish to stop eating live is going to be up to the individual fish. it could work. it might not.
having larger water volume will always help. but at the end of the day. the fx5 and 6 really doesn't hold a whole lot of media when its setup to do both mechanical and biological filtration. i wouldnt expect it to filter more then a 120 with moderate stocking.
OkIf you are able, post another pic of your tank after your plug in the FX6 and it's been running at least an hour.
