paludarium?

This paludarium build I actually like.
Seems to be a good balance of land, water and plentiful plants that should take root soon.
I also feel that the mopani wood pieces compliment and complete the land area well.
I used standard metal baskets upside down to separate the water and land.

I used a green plexiglass panel under the screen with a light panel on top that has red and green mode.
Both light modes can be turned on at the same time or individually.
Once the plants root, they should help absorb nitrogen compounds.
In addition, I might be adding a small canister filter to keep the water clear, as well as chemical treatments on occasion.

I notice many people build paludariums with water areas that resemble "pools", however this build is quite different as water is the base of the paludarium entirely with land area for the plants to grow above the metal baskets that I put upside down.
This way, there is more than enough water for several smaller fish that might enjoy shade.

What else should I add to this paludarium?
Im thinking some air plants.
Perhaps some aquatic plants?
Cabomba?
As for fish?
