Cheaper alternative to hikari sinking gold medium?

Ive used this pellet as my main staple for well over 10yrs now… 2.2lbs used to be $14.95… its been climbing since. Went to order from my regular place today and its $29.00 a bag. Thats high way robbery and i can’t afford it for the amount i need. Any recommendations on something close size and color wise? I usually order around 12-16lbs at a time. Thanks!

2.2lbs for $14.95!!! Feck me sideways! That's roughly £12-£13 in the uk. I always have some hikari gold medium sinking pellets in my fish larder. The largest bag I can get is the 342g (12oz) bag.....and they cost anywhere from £10-£13 each!!

I've looked online for larger bags but I cannot for the life in me find anything bigger than the 342g they offer.

I would absolutely love to be paying your price, and for 2.2lbs at that. Honestly the mind boggles.

Kens has been my go to place aswell for 10+ yrs. Not sure y the hikari went up $9 a bag since i last ordered tho lol… Ive tried alot of his brand pellets but never the cichlid he offers. I’ll give those a shot thank you

Yeah I use to buy their carnivore/massivore for my bichirs but gotten way to expensive. Now I just buy the 12mm sinking pellets 25lbs for my bichirs saving so much now

12oz i can get for $10.49 here… Surprised u can’t find it in bulk at all. Grass is always greener tho. Id like to have ur tackle available here for fishing … it drives me absolutely insane the same brands that sell products in ur neck of the woods do not offer the same stuff here in the states despite pricing. So i guess were in the same boat my friend lol …
