Um no, never used Discord lol.
Ah I see. There was someone on there with a similar circumstance of having a solo tapajos in a relatively small tank with that name.

Australian Silver perch get 3 times too big for a 220 L tank (50 gal)
I also agree Geophaphus Tapajos will out grow a 50Gll tank
i thought that since they get 40cm and the tank is 122cm they would have 3x their lenghth which is long enough but do you need more?

Oh, lol. Yeah, perhaps he should be with a school, but I'm not willing to upgrade. He is very happy, showing great color, and eating like a champ. I see no reason to ruin what is good.

WHat about a silver perch? They are native, hardy, and they can live in a 150L so 200 should be fine
Like I said, look for something in the 15 cm range...

It's not completely about the length; although that is short, it's the width. The max for a 55 is about 12 inches. The fish is 15 inches. That wouldn't be pretty.

Yes, they are active, think of it like keeping a 8 cm fish in a 24 cm long tank
