Final Tank Setup

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm about to start school and work, and in the little free time I will have, I will want to hang out with friends and work out.

What a load of drivel. You can't keep a tank running because of school, work, friends and working out? You need to prioritise young man, lol.

On this forum, nothing comes between a man, or in your case boy, and his tanks. If you know what you are doing you can set a tank up that's virtually maintenance free.

My two little tanks are a breeze, it's my big 360g that needs the work doing on it.

Besides, school, work, friends and working out are all overrated, lol.

And I don't know why everyone seems to think that John and myself are somehow out of control. We are the most sensible people on this forum:liar:🤔

I am prioritizing. The priorities are in order: school, work, friends, health, and other pets, lol. Like I said, I will come back stronger and with more knowledge to make better and bigger tanks. You're right; nothing comes between a man and his tanks, so I'm not getting rid of the tank; I'm just swapping the inhabitants. 🤣

"Besides, school, work, friends and working out are all overrated, lol." Uh huh...yes yes, indeed. What are you going to tell john then? Hmm? :nilly:

Sensible people? I just snorted the water I was drinking out from my nose.

Why would Esox need to tell me anything about that stuff?

School...not on my radar.
Work...I'm retired.
Friends...most of them just as crazy as me.
Working out...

Esox, you've gotta keep in mind...we're dealing with SLV's here. Words like "sensible" have no meaning here. :)

SLVs? You mean these?:

SLVS can stand for Scalable Low-Voltage Signaling, which is a high-speed interface for image sensors created by Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS).

Ain't that the truth. Spotty little varmints is one thing but add puberty to the mix as well and the level of insanity has just been raised to a whole new level, lol.

We both waved bye bye to our SLV puberty stage many decades ago. That's why we are so sensible now!

Unfortunately we've got dementia and Parkinson's just round the corner, so I suspect we may start being a bit silly soon!

Oh, those kinds of SLVs...

Its a shame you are dropping out for while, the scape in that tank was very impressive for a young fairly inexperienced guy.
Still you have to do what you have to do, i would suggest a small basic tank as others have, just a 20G with some guppies and cories will only take 30mins a week to look after and keep you on the scene.
During my late teens and early 20s i found having a tank was a calming influence in all the excess and chaos. I enjoyed having a tank as it was a small part of my life that was just for me, didnt involve work, idiot friends or girls. It was always cool to do a WC and spend an afternoon by myself driving around cruising the LFS , listen to some music and chill. Might be worth considering as a break from what looks like a fairly busy schedule.

I often wonder that this forum is not so much about fish, as theoretical astronomy. So many threads spiral down a black hole into a parallel universe.

Yes, but it's a nice parallel universe; we have cookies. :)
