Have you tested your water?
No
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
What percentage of water do you change?
31-40%
How frequently do you change your water?
Every two weeks
If I do not change my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
My NTT Datnoid fish suddenly seems to have brown shades all over the body, i know it changes color when stressed but this seems to be unusual what maybe the issue and how to recover it??

Water parameters, tank mates, hiding places, diet?
May be this not right but I never checked water parameters.

Tank Mates: Arowana, Pbass, another NTT, Senegals, eel.

Hiding places: Yes I wouldn't say alot but moderate.

Diet: shrimp & chicken heart.

Do you imagine that chicken heart may be the natural diet of a fish?

??
I will check the water parameters.

But chicken heart I didn't think of it that way and I understand that it's not a natural diet. Where I'm from I have seen quite a few fish hobbyist do that. Maybe that's not right I'll change it. Thank you for your insight.

looks like usual datnoid pattern fluctuations, though it usually feigns signs of much larger issues if it doesn't revert. Most datnioides will undergo changes in their overall coloration to hide themselves better or as a direct response to stress from internal to external factors.

definitely test water parameters though, API FW master test kit is your best bet
