I see, that makes a lot of sense. Would this apply similarly to the smaller Bagarius species do you think?I would say a mixture of reasons. As they grow, the flow of water they require increases proportionally to their size. By the time they are 2-3ft they really require a pond and an oversized pond pump. I also feel they are a fish that benefits from seasonal conditions.
