But didn't you say you're using the RO for your fish?
That RO is just about the right parameter mineral consistancy as is, for your S American fish (without re mineralkazation)

Oh i see what you mean you meant the r/o water not my tap water. Yeah my tap water is like 400-500pm hardness (27 gdh). But r/o water has to be remineralized u cant just use r/o water its 0 tds basically. Also with 0 kh the ph will fluctuate all over the place.

really really good actually, hes super active now. Eats like a champion, not shy at all. Its like a different fish i swear lol. HEs grown so much in 3 weeks i can hardly believe it frankly.

i will take some pics tommorow, i dont know why but whenever i take pics of him he basically all black can hardly see his stripes at all. But in the tank he is clearly red striped lol

heres the little dude today. Honestly its crazy how much bigger he is in 3 weeks lol. If u look at the first pics i showed of him when i got him. Then compare with him now... 3 weeks....

it does look like he will be a pretty dully coloured oscar when hes older though hes 90% black lol
