It can be tricky when you have first hand experience too.
There are no absolutely correct answers when it comes to compatibility issues.
I always tend to play it safe with my advise in these circumstances.
Better to be warned of the dangers rather than say,yeah try it they will be ok. Only for the fish to tear each other apart.
If the poster asking the question tries it,he only has himself to blame if it all goes wrong.Not the person that advised him.
It would be wise to advise a smoker to quit if he wants a long healthy life,yet he may carry on smoking and live to be 101.
That's why I believe we can only advise by the most likely scenario as nothing is absolute.
