What catfish is this??

Hard to tell for me from that picture and ID-hostile angle. Doesn't look like any of the common ones - eupterus, USD, or a hybrid.

Has the fish been bullied? It has a damaged eye and fin(s).

Yes before I brought it was in with an aggressive shoal of about 20, 6 inch leporinus striatus which were very aggressive

Well he's definitely not in good shape which make the ID a little harder

Thanks for the better photos. I am not good with drab-looking syno species ID. The genus is too large and there are too many of these in it, plus there is some variability in appearances... and complications with man-made hybrids.

If you really want a good shot at finding out the species ID, I'd recommend posting on Planet Catfish. That's where I'd turn to.
