I'd like to see what it looks like. You could always make it a beautiful planted nano tank with a few colourful shrimp, as well as a few white cloud minnows.
It's always nice to see young fish keepers in the making! I remember starting very, very young and it was so exciting for me. I look forward to seeing his future work. :)
Try adding some Indian Almond Leaves, or something that helps a slime coating. Also, make sure the fish is getting plenty of oxygen in the aquarium. For now, that is all you can do.
Considering the recommended aquarium size for them on LiveAquaria.com is 100 gallons, I would say you could comfortably have 6-10 in there, with a pleco and a datnoid.
Definitely 300 gallons. They're great fish, but if you are looking for an arowana that requires a smaller tank size, a silver one requires 120 gallons.
Thank you! It has been a bit rough, but you have to be determined, you know?
I agree! Life is far to short to be unhappy. And this, is something that makes me happy.
I would never pay for email. With that said, I use Windows Live. I really like it. It's easy on the eyes, and provides a lot of space, along with other great features. My second choice would be Gmail.
I, as with everyone else on this thread, have never experienced an ill effects from Hikari first bites. I do believe the batch you had was contaminated.
I'm sorry about the loss of all of those fry though. :(
Now, I was amazed to see this! I had read on numerous websites that knife fish would not breed in captivity. Only in ponds. I'm so glad you shared this. :)
