    The next fad in fish-keeping?

I need to put this in my signature. It's too perfect. I really hope that this does not become mainstream, and I hope that this is only isolated to a few fish keepers. It's absurd to do this to a fish, or a pet.

    Rope Fish Stories

I really like rope fish, and think that they're very unique. Yet, I have never kept any, so I cannot say whether I have experience of any escaping from me. However, I have kept senegal bichirs, which are closely related, and never had a problem with them attempting to escape. :)

Little kids keep Monster fish and lizards?

And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes this argument. :iagree:

Little kids keep Monster fish and lizards?

To the author of this thread: I disagree with your position entirely. While there have been children who have obtained monster fish in the past, only to have them released in the wild when their interest in them fades, it is more likely that an adult will release a large fish, or any...

Little kids keep Monster fish and lizards?

As someone who entered this hobby at a young age, and joined Monster Fish Keepers at the age of twelve, I agree with you 100%. If you are determined to do something enough, you will do it. Do not ever let anyone discourage you on this forum, or anywhere else. :)

    A new beginning!

I have successfully housed small tetras with convicts. They don't bother them, though they do both other cichlids that they see as competition. I just would not want to house my Texas Cichlid with anything small, once he grows up.

    Rate my Scape!

It looks pretty nice :) If I didn't have convicts, and fish who love to shred plants, I'd go for a planted tank.

    Help with I'D please.

Mine would not accept flake food at all. He would eat cichlid pellets, blood worms; but it came to a point where I was having to buy feeder fish, because that's all he would eat.

    Help with I'D please.

Mine did so for about three or four months. I thought that he, and the entire species was a timid, and quite fish. However, I was proven wrong. The viciousness was soon activated, and I soon found out how powerful these fish really are.

    Electric Blue Acaras

A very nice find, indeed! I love how lively they are! :)

    A new beginning!

Once the Texas Cichlid grows up, I'd be afraid of housing such small fish with him.

    150 gallon update

I definitely love the lighting! The fish look very nice and healthy as well. :)
