Well whether you decide to remove the other tank mates, make sure to have a number of spots for the weeksii to hide, driftwood, plants, and caves will do a lot to calm it down. Also if it's well fed it may decide it doesn't need an extra snack, if you catch my drift.

Thought I'd share dino's progress with you all. As he matured I've come to the conclusion that he is a she, I'd like your input pics aren't the clearest but one shows the anal fin so I'd appreciate the opinions. He's been enjoying tilapia, hikari massivore pellets, and the occasional earthworm.

I've had 1 or 2 outbreaks of ich because of hasty introduction, but in each case my poly never contracted it, so I guess they may be more resistant but like others have said not entirely immune.

I think the red sand is usually called garnet sand, but I'd recommend the red or black sand (I prefer a mix), with larger rocks to decorate the tank

I was wondering if it was platinum too, but it kind of just looks a little washed out, not sure if it's the lights/stress/poor coloring or if it is actually platinum.

Cool, there's a restaurant near me that has a tsn, rtc, 2 oscars, 3 silver dollars, 2 tinfoil barbs, and a few more fish in what looks like a 120g tank :( they're all fairly large too it made me a sad panda. Now I tell all of my friends to stay away and not give them business for mistreating...

Personally I think it'll be fine, ornates are known for not putting up with ****, as long as they're well fed and have plenty of room and hiding spaces I think it'll be just fine.

As squirtle said registration would never work for a number of reasons, beyond that I don't see many bans lifting except with the possibilities of places where the snakeheads can't survive, too far up north for certain species for instance, or where they've already become pervasive in the wild...

2nding the quarantine of wild caught feeders the last thing you need is introduced disease. Stay away from goldfish and gut load the feeders before you drop them in, may as well give them as much nutrients as possible.

Haven't seen wood that good looking since last night ;) Most people scrub the wood (lol) and boil it to remove dirt and any possible debris that may contaminate the tank. I found some pretty cool wood around my area but it's all soft wood (lol again) and I've heard that's not very healthy for...

Never heard of fish tank kings, but I can't stand watching tanked for more than a couple minutes. I'll look into ftk, I'm hoping it's better.

Sorry for the noob question but I was wondering if it was possible to keep 2 red wolf fish together in a 75g tank. I know they're really aggressive just wondering if they could live together given enough space, caves to hide in, and plenty of food. Thanks in advance.

Why not ask this in the thread you already have open? As far as the med you're asking about I would avoid anything with copper, it can be toxic to polys, you also already got a good suggestion for treatment in the other thread. If you want my advice keep the infected poly in qt, do 20-30% wc's...
