Hmmm I just want to keep a pair. I'm not too concerned about offspring. But if they're related, would there be any compatibility issues? And what happens if I don't do anything if they decide to breed? Will they eventually eat the fry?

It's best to get fry from different parents in hopes of a pair right? Would it be better to order like 3 from one place and then 3 others from another place rather than ordering 6 from the same place and hoping for a pair?

Yeah that pair is stunning MP. After thinking forever and changing my mind a billion times, I'll be getting about 6 fry from a local breeder and hoping I get a beautiful pair like yours

Not at all man. I'm just very indecisive as you can tell from all of my threads lol I like to know every little detail about everything before making decisions. Festae are VERY pretty and quite the impressive pair that I would want, but I also love it when fish recognize their owner and get excited
