I don't believe in Certs. I believe in the fish itself. If it is a Xback it will be and not just because of the cert. The cert can say anything and you might get a different fish.

I think it is a HB. Look at the top fins. If cross back already have pearlies. Also xb when baby will already have 5th row full shine waiting to grow into xb.

Hey guys, I got a XB gold arowana and it is about 15cm. When I first bought it I turned the lights on very about 14hrs a day. I noticed it is getting darker on his back. Did I just accidentally tanned my arowana? Is this reversible? I hope it will not stop the crossing. thanks

Also one more question. I thought dark environment brings out the intense red colours in arowanas? That is why people blind the arowana or cover the tank in complete darkness to bring out the colours?
