Suppose i decide to try the salt/heat treatment.....would all these fish: a pacu, oscar, senegal bichir, african brown knife, and tiger barbs...be able to tolerate the salt?

yea it kills me honestly because i really care about my fish but im flat broke...im doin what i can though...i really dont want to loose any of them

my oscar does that too now.....he never used to but hes always just chillin now....i have a pacu with him too.....maybe its the pacus

im not tryin to torture my fish by starvin them jus so i dont have to get a big tank thats pretty messed up

ive had the pacu for about 3 or 4 months now.....still not too big for the tank

i know they will get too big theyre juvies now tho so it doesnt matter

ok let me emphasize on my conditions.....29 gallon tank....nothing to put the fish in as a quarantine.....no money to buy treatment/aquarium salt/etc.

those fish can tolerate the salt? even though they are fully freshwater fish?

I have an oscar, a pacu, african brown knife, 3 tiger barbs, and a senegal bichir..... My ABK has white spots ALL OVER him My pacu seems to be the next worst the tiger barbs are obviously affected and my oscar jus sits there now but hes albino so i cant really tell if he has the spots..... WHAT...

how big is that tank? and what all do you have in it? i see a couple knives it looks nice

Yes he was around 5 inches and he was in full freshwater....i figured that what happened might have been that it finally needed to be switched....BUT i have heard of them living fine in freshwater so it confused me...none the less..hes gone unfortunately ;(

My colombian shark cat just died. He started gettin like a yellowish color and looked like he was shedding. He started sittin straight up against things in the tank. I left for a few hours to come home to a dead catfish...just sitting straight up...dead in the corner.....ANY ideas what might...

So a 29 gallon should be ok for him for life? cause im needing a new tank for my oscar and pacu so they dont eat the ABk
