Cleaning my room and found an old critter keeper that i bought from someone years ago that kept a betta in. I filled it up and there’s no leaks or cracks so I put some sand in it and filled with water from my FH tank so it’s already cycled. What can I put In this tank? Shrimp and plants? Any suggestions? It’s about

You either need to add some cycled media or a cycled filter if you want to add livestock to this tank. Just water from a tank that is cycled isn't sufficient.

Cherry shrimp and plants such as Anacharis, Hornwort, Java moss or my choice - Najas grass would be my suggestions. An appropriate piece or a few decorative wood branches would also be a plus.

Could I just add a ceramic ring or two? Anything else that could be added to it?

Really limited to just shrimps and snails. Grab some gravel from daisy’s tank to help cycle it. Some low maintenance plants and some rocks, wood, etc would make a nice small tank.

Honestly I don't think a couple ceramic rings would do the trick since you won't be having any water movement in this tank.

Consider buying or making a nano sponge filter and run it off a valve from your existing air pump.

Not a bad idea. I’ll try that out along with Deadeye Deadeye suggestion to put some gravel from daisys Tank into it. What are some good plants for it? Only thing I can think of for a shrimp tank is a marimo ball.

I have this tiny air stone from an old 3g bait bucket I can attach but how do I lower the amount of air coming through? Can I stuff cotton on the pipe or something?

Read post #2 again D deeda gave you plant suggestions.
Thanks. I forgot he said those plants. D deeda id love a few time branches but where would I get something small enough? There’s a place nearby that has najas grass. There was this one plant I saw that said stays small that I really liked. Don’t remember what it is but it has a pinkish/red color on the leaves.
