Very nice, Koji! Let's see if the Silver Aros of the "Cheapo collection" will get DE or not. :)

wow that aro is stunning koji..what do you feed that aro..it has beautiful colors..i have never seen one like that....can you please tell us about the aros diet

Thanks guys. Basically these are just regular silvers which you guys can get that have those reddish looking finnages.

I kept mine in black tanks for over 2 years and they always have lights 24/7 despite in tank.

Their diet in their early year mainly pellets of all sort. Since I'm feeding in huge quantity, I buy those common foodsticks which I can get in bulk locally at a enconomical pricing. No special diet except for their early days of pellet training which I use hikari tropical foodsticks to induce them to accept pellet.

And when they grow bigger, their diet also include bullfrogs and superworms.

Till date, some display stronger bluish colouration on their face while some look more greenish in overall.

The believe the black tank with a black base and lights 24/7 help in enhancing the colouration on them as well.

Koji, do you ever wonder if the black tank+ 24/7 lights gives them higher chance of not getting DE when they never start with DE?
