THE WATER COMES RIGHT OUT OF THE GROUND?...

WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

SUPER POND BY THE WAY...

The water table is very high there. Kind of like digging a well and hitting water, but he dug a pond and hit water!

I DONT KNOW HOW A WELL WORK....

I SUPPOSE IS A NATURAL WATER SOURCE...

HOW HE FOUND THAT OUT?....IS THERE A RIVER NEAR HIS HOME?

WHY THE WATER TABLE IS HIGH IN THAT PARTICULAR SPOT?

IF THERE IS A COMPANY NEAR HIS HOME THAT USE CHEMICALS ON THE GROUND...I SUPPOSE THE WATER COULD BE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE FISH....

IS THERE A CHANCE THAT THE WATER OVERFLOWS?...

Interesting & awesome!

Unless the water is clear though I would never bother with such an undertaking. I couldn't put so much time into just creating a pond no different from a natural one.

It differs from a natural one in that it is in his yard, and that it will be stocked with what he chooses. The water will clear up "naturally" to an extent but it does bring up an interesting point. What kind of filtration are you going to set up since this isnt fed/drained by a stream?

Look at the greenery all around the area, the lush rain forest like surroundings, the rich clay soil...this pond will be able to clear naturally and by planting the correct water plants it will clear and thrive.

Look at the natural clear water Bass lakes and ponds in the Southeast US.
Some of them come up in the spring and are not fed by river. The water table seeps water into the pond and the foliage filters them to clear conditions...

I think he's got a winner right there in the front yard of his office...
Imagine having as school of ][V][Onster Gar to play with...Feeding time is gonna be cool, to say the least!!
