1,000 Gallon Glass Aquarium!!!

Impressive tank, I am surprised that with a tank that size they chose to go with just a 75g sump.
 
are those power heads with the nurse sharks, doesnt that mess with them with them or was that just me that heard that. the tank to does look nice
 
did anyone else catch the part about the pacu being found in 1974, that would make him 35 years old:eek::eek::eek::eek:

thats gotta be the longest living captive pacu out there
 
saw the pictures, ready the replies.. and only 1 other person is most amazed at the age of these fish? To me that more then anything makes my eyebrows do that little "Hmmm..." dance. Very awesome to have fish that age.
 
i know its a lfs and not a home tank, but personally i think they wasted that 1000 gallons with that tank. the tank looks so bare and they have nothing in it! they should heavily decorate it so that anyone can look and say wow..... thats the whole point of a show tank at the lfs-- to get people excited and perk interest for them to keep one like it. not trying to knock the lfs or the fish or that having a 1k gallon tank would rule.
