1/4" plate glass... what would you do??

I like the river tank. If you have a wall long enough I would do a 16' river tank with 4 48" view windows.

You could make a grow out tank or breeder tank...or a combination of both. I have or had a really long and narrow tank that was divided into smaller compartments. Each divider had a hole drilled in it with screen glued over it. The water was drawn off of one end and then returned to the other end.

1/4" glass is easy to cut, so you can use it for a ton of different things.

I've thought about that too, since I have several baby pike cichlids and datnoids that would work well in that type of growout setup.

Now that's ambitious! Maybe a 16'x4'x20" high? :D

Imagine how many rays I could fit in that baby!

That's exactly what I'd do with them.

Or, how about a wood tank 100" X 48" X 14", with 2 front windows?

that sounds great to me!!! being shallow wouldnt really be that bad, get a school of piranhas in there!!!

I would actually build it 100"x48"x22". That way there would be about the same height as a 125g tank.

Any of these idea's would look awesome. I'll have to keep them brewing around in my head for when I move... :D

Just talked to a guy today who could get me a 48"x48.5" piece of 1/4" plate glass for $20-30, so looks like I may try a 48"x48.5"x14" all glass tank in the near future...
