1.5 gallon petsmart help

1.5g is teeny tiny. Other than a betta, you can look at a miniature water frog (the kind that get about 1/2 inch total length. Re-consider the ghost shrimp - in a brightly lit tank with some neat aquascaping, they are very cool to watch.

No cichlids tho - why would you force an active, boisterous fish into a tiny tank like that?

im thinkin crystal red shrimp. but are they like ghost shrimp? i saw this one ghost shrimp defending its food from another fish!

plus how much would a high grade crystal red be? ive never seen any shrimp that i though was a pet except for a saltwater mantis shrimp. i see a bunch of ghost shrimp everytime but i think theyre sold as feeders.

if you go saltwater, you could give Thor amboinensis a shot (I can't say the common name without getting a pm from the auto-bot) Ive seen it done an aquaria smaller than that.

You mentioned reptiles. I don't know if you want arachnids, but there are some scorpions that will fit in that tank. There are some spiders too.

How about a dwarf puffer? They are really tiny and need to be alone. Well maybe a shrimp or two.

no fish and i mean no fish not even a betta should be forced to live in there . shrimp ae your best choice and are very interesting and there is no point in asking about fish because any responsible person will tell you it should not be done .

scorpion?? is there like a dwarf scorpion that maxes out at 2-3 inches? thought about a scorpion but i thought they were all 6inches+.

and the only reptile i would want is a lizzard or gecko that looks good and stays at a small adult size.

my mom hates anything that has to do with reptiels, spiders, you know the rest. shes afraid theyll find a way out.

still heavily considering the crystal red shrimp.
