Definatly intresting...I'll give it that,,,but as with all theorys it's just conjecture until it's proven.

I'm not gonna read it, no time.

Is that the findings of Brian Fry? If so, better beleive it. I've talked to him and he explained it very well. No need to be scared of a beardie though! lol

Belief requires faith...scientific fact requires proof.
Definatly possible but I'll wait for the outcome.

...You know that saliva is sometimes noted as a type of venom by some biologists....

Its not the saliva. I DONT KNOW IF THE ARTICLE IS ABOUT BRIAN FRY, but he seems to have found or found evidence of primitive venom glands in most lizards, including monitors which were thought to have ONLY the bacteria in the mouth.

No no no, I am just saying discovery of 1,500 venomous lizards is shocking? Some biologists believe that every organism that produce saliva are venomous. It just a matter of how potent they are. Really, it should not be a surprise anyway if people follow academic sources.

Is this article about Brian Fry or not? I'm TOTALLY and completely talking about him and his findings. If not, my facts are totally irrelevant and i apologize.

It is about Brian Fry and they noted that iguanas retain the primitive glands, while snakes retain the upper glands and some species of lizards retain the lower glands.

Yep thats the one... I wish I could get a hold of him again, we had a cool talk.
