$1/Gallon at Petco

post an ad on craigslist that you'll pay $1 a gallon. i got tons of emails and have over 35 tanks, ranging from 2.5 gallons to 75 gallon tanks.
just curious why is everyone getting 40b's instead of 55's is the 40 wider and shorter or something? hell if i lived close to a petco i would buy 2 55's and use one as the others sump. that would be perfect.
I picked up an 80 gallon for 90$ no lid just tank. I saw a 150 for 200 but I don't have the room for that yet. Is it weird I still want to go pick up another tank, guess I'll go buy a lid for my other 10 gallon
For the people that bought aquariums, did Petco take the discount after calculating the sales tax? For example, the 55G is $110, sales tax is calculated on the $110 and then subtract $55. Whereas, usually, it would be subtract $55 then calculate sales tax on the $55.

Tax is always on the final price, i don't see how they can tax you for 110 when you only spent 55? I live in a state that doesn't have a sales tax though. w00t w00t
