Yep, I totally agree. It requires a bit more maintenance but I think it is worth it.

Update! I think it is pretty cool how the builder created pockets for plants around the waterfall.

My uncle is accualy doing a pond him self. His is 12 Lo.g 6 wide 4 deep. Good size. It's is just a pool with a water fall with fish in it.

That is an awesome pond! I wish I could line the inside of mine with rocks, it does look more natural.

The pond is stocked with sturgeon, phoenix barbs, bambusa, highfin sharks, longear sunfish, sailfin mollies, and mosquito fish.
