Amazing tank ! ........ But my wife seen it and wants me to try to make a planted tank out of one of our 20 L tanks ..... and I do not have the slightest clue to what I am doing when it comes to planted tanks , so when the time comes I might ask for a few pointers on lighting, plant species ... ext :) but at least she is showing interest and says it will be her tank :) but I have to do the maint. LOL
 
i was expecting a styrofoam box full of green bundles wrapped in plastic... but i should have known better.

awesome planted tank! that is pretty sweet growth especially considering you are running an overflow and sump! most aquascapers would think you're loco.
 
quite the beautiful tank. crop the background out of the pictures and these can go in an Amano book.

Thanks! Yeah I was going more for a dutch-style tank, but then added a few pieces of driftwood a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I'm all out of room, adding more wood and redoing the scape would mean tearing out a bunch of plants, and I'm just not read to do that yet. Maybe when I get bored, I'll do a re-scape :)

It's temporary! My spraybar was all black, but I was having problems with my plants along the front glass getting too much current, and they were dying off, so I had to make a quick fix. Plan on redoing the returns and adding one on each side.

No, I put it together from different sources. Actually, I haven't been to that store yet.
