yay juru has his own fan club!lol jk.He needs a Tigrinous friend!!I want a tig to go with him so bad.I know they are often reffered to as the "poor mans tigrinous" but I think more of them as being black with white stripes whereas tigs appear white with black stripes.

I'm not sure if these pics are much better,I turned of one of the venturis so there should be 1/3 less bubbles,lol.Theres a bit of a glare I think because I have my lights on timers and right now its in the "high noon" mode.

I never understood the point of streamers. Do they help the fish out in anyway? Just doesn't make sense why they would have them. Seems like it would create drag or something. Very cool nonetheless though!!

I think they use them as a navigation/predatory mechanism.. I noticed the Tigs and Jurs will whip around and munch food if they brush up against the streamer.. They have very bad vision and use this as a sensory type deal.

It could also be like a Kite, that uses a long tail to help stabilize swimming in rapid waters..

I think the reason my guys streamer is so long in proportion to his body length is because all former tank mates used to chomp it off,and it stimulated extra growth once it was allowed to finally grow back,does that sound like a valid theory??
