PVC will last longer and vinyl tube is easier and quicker to run... Gonna be a personal choice on that one! Cost is probably about the same if you Sat down and did all the math.... Gonna have to be a personal choice on that one!

I am mostly uncertain about 3/4" schedule 40, flexing and breakage, with an unsupported span.

Run it in vinyl then, it'll be quicker to get it stretched out and going. You can also roll it up out of the way when not in use. Why only 3/4 inch drain? I would have gone with 1.5 or 2 inch so it doesn't take all day to do a WC.

The drum will be holding 7 psi the 3/4" should flow faster than the sump pump can. I also have a lot of 3/4" fittings laying around.

That makes perfect sense then, I know I've done things because that's what I had laying around before. Especially if that's all the sump can handle.

Got the porch mostly cleared off. It will be a awhile until I stock the lower tank. I need to build a poly floss tray in the top of the sump.
