howdy! me and my friend got a huge cement pond in our house (100,000 gal.)...ive got a few questions:
1. our ponds water is alkaline (7.8) and we would like to know how to acidify it to 7.0? driftwood? WC?
2. we got 4 filtering systems with each system including: 1 tetra U.V., 1 Mag Drive pump, 1 tetra pond bio-filter. Is this ok?
3. we got 6 p.bass, 1 silver aro, 1 oscar, 2 pacu, 6 dourado, 2 carps, 1 gar, 1 pike cichlid and a whole bunch of tilapia. How frequently do we need a WC? Since its a big pond and with very few fish, ammonia and nitrite are practically 0.
thanks!

On a pond that size, couldn't you add some type of plants to absorb the nitrates? Then you would almost never have to change water.
